What we do

NECAC is a networking mechanism for community members (service providers, parents, businesses) to connect and build relationships with the shared purpose of improving early childhood services in Nelson.

GOALS:

  • To facilitate and provide a venue for networking opportunities between community members and groups
  • to raise public awareness of early childhood development
  • To develop community partnerships to improve and enhance service to children and their families

Putting the Pieces Together: Early Childhood Services in Nelson held February 2011 – This networking event was targeted at early years service providers and decision makers. Taking place on Friday, February 25th from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Prestige the event included displays, food, drinks, resources and a partnership with the Nelson and District Chamber of Commerce.
